On Mon, Jan 10, 2011 from 9am - 4pm there will be a public workshop at the Port Orford Library on marine spatial planning (MSP) activities in Oregon. Presenters will discuss Oregon's process to update the Territorial Sea Plan to address renewable ocean energy development. The event is designed to provide background for stakeholders, community leaders, and the public on the planning process including ways to engage. Speakers will include: Paul Klarin (DLCD); Pete Stauffer (Surfrider); Peter Freeman (Oregon State University); Charles Steinback (Ecotrust); Dick Vandershaff (Nature Conservancy); and John Hansen (West Coast EBM Network).
