Local volunteers and folks visiting the Coos Bay area over the holidays have made a huge difference to Oregon's beaches. According to the Oregon Chapter Network of Surfrider, " Since Christmas, Oregon Chapters organized 9 beach cleanups, rallied 186 volunteers and removed an estimated 10,000 lbs of debris!"
