Since I have applied for the Surfrider Foundation Scholarship, I am now currently registered as a Freshman at Southwestern Oregon Community College (SWOCC). My career goal is to graduate with a degree in Natural Resources/Forestry. While I am at SWOCC, I am also registered to play with the SWOCC Baseball Team. Once I have completed my two years at SWOCC, I will have an opportunity to transfer to a University for another two years. With the help of the Surfrider Scholarship, I will be able to pursue my career goals. I plan to continue to work hard so I can obtain a job working for BLM. I feel this scholarship will move me into the right direction of my education and will help me to succeed in doing so. Thank you Surfrider Foundation for the scholarship!
